Not at all. Children will take home only the school diary and the required notebooks to study for tests or complete written homework as per the schedule.

At CMIS, our comprehensive assessment processes cover everything from extracurricular activities to socioeconomic skills, critical thinking, and creativity. This approach provides a holistic view of our students’ abilities. We conduct regular exams and tests to ensure learning continuity in alignment with the latest educational requirements, giving parents a clear picture of their child's progress.

Our assessments go beyond traditional written examinations. Instead, they comprise formative and summative assessments, practical exams, assignments, course book maintenance, and teachers’ observation-based analysis.

We also follow the co-scholastic approach to evaluate using ER and corresponding rubrics. Each domain (both core and futuristic) has specific rubrics associated with it.

Yes, we encourage children to participate in exams such as Spell Bee and Olympiads. Furthermore, our SAs are as educational as these exams, as they are drafted by experts.

Our teaching modalities are meticulously designed with:

  • Technology to incorporate visual representations to make the lessons engaging, visually stimulating, and relevant to real-world applications.
  • Practical approach to simplify conceptual understanding and to hone the students’ learning skills.
  • Collaborative learning through discussions and debates to connect facts to current issues and practices to promote deep understanding. It also improves speaking and critical thinking skills.
  • Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) encourage children to analyse, apply, and relate knowledge to real-life scenarios.
  • Co-curricular activities which reinforce the theoretical concepts taught in class. The practical classes include robotics, symposiums, and space design.
  • Lateral thinking encourages unique and innovative ideas and elevates their understanding capacity.
  • Hands-on maths techniques in a Math Lab environment to simplify learning concepts.

At CMIS, we believe in open communication. Parents have unrestricted access to email or personal interactions with teachers, administrators, and school officials. To meet our staff in person, kindly book a prior appointment to meet them at the campus. This policy ensures that parents are always informed about their child's progress and can actively participate in their educational journey.

We believe holistic learning is the best form of education. To instil physical, mental, emotional, and social development, we offer a complete range of modern and traditional sports activities, alongside other skill-honing tasks like:

  • Oration
  • Public speaking skills
  • Classical dance
  • Instrumental music
  • Rock climbing
  • Skating
  • Karate
  • Fine arts
  • Innovation Labs

At CMIS, we prioritise holistic learning. Every student enjoys a wide range of activities throughout their school day. Sports, arts, music, and dance are all integrated into the regular timetable. This approach aims to help students showcase their natural talents and develop them to the fullest, ensuring their overall development is a priority.

Of course, you can. In fact, we encourage parents to positively impact their children’s educational journey by actively participating in school activities. We conduct exciting and interactive activities such as:

  • Parent Crickets League
  • Parent March Past
  • Parents’ Carnival
  • Various Parent Engagement Programmes

These activities, conducted before the winter break, are indispensable in creating everlasting memories for you and your child.

CMIS upholds the importance of discipline as a fundamental principle within our school. Addressing disciplinary infractions is a top priority, and we handle them with the utmost care. Our school has a rigorous discipline policy and a system for addressing complaints.

The recruitment of teachers is a three-step stringent process including:

  1. One-on-one interaction
  2. Demonstrative round
  3. Written test

Although all our teachers hold B.Ed., M.Ed., and NTTE Degrees, they undergo an induction programme once we recruit them. This program hones their teaching and classroom management skills while also moulding them to align with our institution’s programs and policies. Apart from these measures, we make schedule observations and provide feedback to ensure they are fully qualified to shape and mould future generations.
