Objective of the Event:

To provide students with experiential learning in aquaponics, strengthen scientific curiosity, and highlight the school’s integration of sustainable practices and values in real-world education.

Event Highlights:

• Dr. Kadarkarai Murugan, a distinguished scientist, visited CMIS as the Chief Guest and engaged with students in a friendly and relatable manner.
• He interacted with young learners and appreciated their strong understanding of aquaponics, remarking that CMIS Grade 1 students demonstrated knowledge that even college graduates often lack.
• The Chief Guest explored the aquaponics project, observed student demonstrations, and participated in the harvest process.
• Fish from the aquaponics system were distributed to parents, showcasing the practical and sustainable outcomes of the project.
• Dr. Murugan acknowledged CMIS for offering a “complete package of meaningful education,” where scientific thinking, curiosity, values, and hands-on learning are seamlessly connected.
• He expressed admiration for the school’s vision under the leadership of the Chairman, Dr. Murali, and encouraged continued innovation.
