Excursion - Coonoor

The excursion to Cherry Berry Farm in Coonoor for Grades 1-3 began with a timely departure from the CMIS campus at 8:15 AM. The students, accompanied by their staff and nannies.

The excursion offered valuable learning outcomes for the students. They gained hands-on experience with agriculture and farm life, learning about the cultivation of berries, the role of sustainable farming practices, and the importance of environmental conservation. The trip fostered curiosity about nature, enhanced their understanding of food production, and encouraged teamwork and collaboration. The students also had the opportunity to appreciate local farming traditions, enriching their learning beyond the classroom.
